This shiek restaurant is located in The Royal Palm resort. Now normally I don't venture off the beat to such inhouse locations.

However, for purposes of providing information for you, it was absolutely a necessity.

I've known Barbara and Wilfred, the owners of this establishment for many years and they've always provided a great ambiance and meal for their guests and those of the hotel.

They're known for their outstanding, fingerlicking local Sunday buffet of barbequed ribs and chicken.

The entire Island specializes in ribs and chicken, however the chef and staff at this restaurant has dedicated her time and talents to perfecting the maranade and secret barbecue sauces that come along with the meats.

The food and beverage manager Don as seen in the pic below, can be seen whisking about the floor at all times ensuring that all guests needs are attended to. We generally see him with a permanent smile on his face.

The restaurant and bar is magnificently located in the midst of the pool and offers a spectacular Simpson's Bay ocean view.

If you like the idea of sitting around the pool or if you so desire to have your meal in that area, then Cabana Restaurant is a great spot for you.

Numerous patrons can be seen sipping away at pina coladas at the pool bar.

I simply cant get away from visiting just to get away from the day to day regularity of ordinary. A nice vacation feel beats everything.

The depth of service doesn't end at catering food and beverage to its guests.

Wilfred and Barbara understands the connection between the fragile tourist industry and the economy.

They extend their services all the way into the entertainment department providing activities such as Karaoke and featuring great local entainers like Bob Stone.

Cabana is open for dinner meetings, and almost any private function. With its convenient water front location, management takes advantage of this leverage.

In fact, If you're planning on getting married here on the Island then Barbara would be happy to prepare your dinner party as the enchanting super sunset backdrop sets the stage.

Happy hour starts at 4 pm every day and ends at six. Perfect time for a hang out.
