"Let's get it on" - with da party bus experience...
Started in 2007 by founder and owner Mr baker, THe Ultimate party on wheels enjoys a special monarchy and reigns supremely amongst all bar hopping activities on the island of St Martten.
With its beautifully decorated exterior and festive appearance, this abandoned school bus initiates one's curiosity of the type of entertainment that's involved on one of its numerous daily trips.
Of course, I had to create a special time to venture out once more to capture the experience of yet another activity, so that you the reader had no doubts of weather this one was for you.
It was one of the coolest January evenings of the year. The sky was star lit creating the perfect weather for an evening out with friends or family. I didn't know what to expect other than to think I'd be getting on board for yet another regular evening party.
Of course, me and my photographer "Celius" arrived a bit early so that we could get every minute of it from start to finish. The bus was already parked up with crew on board awaiting the evening's guests.
Within about 15 minutes folks started arriving like an army of ants as much as to say "we're here, lets get it on". This was a chartered evening and I was told that it was the sixth time for that particular group.
Once everyone was signed up and all on board we were off and into the sky. Did I say sky? It sure felt like that. Once the bus got going my attention was drawn to the hostess who immediately got the patrons going with the pre recorded introduction similar to that of being on an aircraft. I had no concept of where I was after that. There was an instant disconnect from the rest of the world.
The starter shots were served, special name tags were issued, slogans were taught and a string of activities began that kept the crowd ablaze for the rest of the evening. It was a professionally thouught out series of events that involved the bartender "Trojan Man", Driver "69", The DJ with his abundance of talent and of course the hostess for the evening's trip.
Bar hopping was the name of the game, however pit stops other than the obvious bar runs allowed for even more drinking pleasure orchestrated by the staff who strategically engaged everyone on board. I couldn't possibly tell you every thing that happens on the trip. What I do know is, you need to make sure you get on this one.
Now let me say this. I have seen this da party bus go up and down the streets of St Marten for a few years. There is no way in the world that I could have thought up the excitement and energy generating onbord Da Party Bus. No one gets off the party bus the same way they got on so leave your high heels at home.
Da Party Bus is available for all types of group tours including children's parties and social gatherings. Regular departures originate from the Simpson Bay area and generally take on about 50 bar hoppers. Hotel shuttle is also available and a 24 hr advanced booking is required.
