United Pentecostal Church...

They are a member of the international group of UPC churches. The Dutch side branch is located in Princess quarter. The glamorous building can be viewed from the main road as you pass by the entrance to Nazareth neighborhood.

The building has changed dramatically over the years and has morphed into a modern air conditioned facility with the main gathering below and a fully functional conference room, boarding and children's Sunday school on the upper level.

The organization is Pastored by Mr James Irish and his team of leaders including Brother Smints and many others who in one way or another conduct either the sound service, offering, and/or choral activity.

It has also shown a steady increase of parishioners throughout its existence.

There are numerous groups in the church that encourage ones growth in Christ such as the UPC gospel sisters, men's group, youth group, and prayer groups. throughout the year many inspirational gatherings are arrange within the confines of the church with the sole intention to lead souls to Christ.

The congregation in house is of mixed cultures as is the community on a whole with a wide range of nationalities. The service is held predominately in English with an interpreter taking the concept of the service to the Haitian members and visitors whose main language is Creole.

The main service is held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and a follow up service on Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Three subsequent services are held throughout the week.

There is prayer and fasting on Monday at 7:30 pm, prayer meeting on Wednesday evening and a regular servise on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm. Friday is also used for special programs such as movie night, bible readings and so on.

Those wishing to attend a service and are not in possession of a car nor have access to transportation are welcome to use the bus service provide by the church.

The United Pentecostal Church welcomes all to attend and worship with them.
